Hitesh Patel, DDS

Dr. Patel's focus is relief of snoring, mild to moderate sleep apnea, TMJ, chronic pain and neuromuscular problems using conservative, holistically oriented methods. He seeks the most advanced diagnostic and treatment techniques available, using non-invasive and non-surgical approaches. His expertise is in objectively documenting cranial dysfunction and correlating it with patients’ problems that may appear elsewhere.

 

The discomfort of living with sleep apnea or chronic pain caused by misalignments in the head and neck is real, but often misunderstood. Patients appreciate Dr. Patel’s intense drive to really listen to them and find a solution. Because he uses appliances to correct misalignments that cause discomfort, he works closely with each patient’s physician to help them feel their best. He found a common commitment to that same goal in the physicians at Meridian Medical Associates.

 

Dr. Patel completed his undergraduate studies at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio and Loyola University School of Dentistry in 1984, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He is certified by the Academy of Clinical Sleep Disorders Dentistry. He is a Diplomate of the Academy of Pain Management; Fellow of the International college of Craniomandibular Orthopedics, and a Fellow of the Academy of Dentistry International and American College of Dentists.
